The Jamguri tea estate is in the northeast corner of Assam, India near the Dhansiri river. The name "Jamguri" means "place of the Jamun tree" named after the Java plum trees which grow in the area. Under cultivation since 1898, this tea estate exclusively produces organic and bio-dynamic teas in addition to having a strong social commitment to their employees.
